I am a lip balm addict. I freely admit it. I use the stuff roughly 568 times more often than any human could possibly require. Love it, love it, love it. Given that, I am always very excited to try a new (to me) fluffy-bunny-friendly version of this glorious moisturizer of the kisser. And this week’s test product has the bunnies frolicking with long-eared, puffy-tailed glee.
Plant a Kiss Lip Conditioner by ecoTOOLS
How does it smell? A little minty and pleasant. More importantly, for this particular type of product, is how does it taste? Yum! Minty, but not overpowering.
Environmental factors? Nothing creepy in this lip balm. The ingredients are all natural. I have no complaints at all about what’s inside the lip conditioner. I wish I could say the same for the outside. The product came in a cardboard box (30% post-consumer recycled)….easy enough to recycle, but even easier to not include in the first place. The tube itself is recyclable, but it’s one of those pesky number 5s….I’m pretty sure no mere mortal has access to a facility that recycles those. ecoTOOLS is listed as a 1% For The Planet member.
Does it work? Yes! All those shea butter and vitamin hopes and dreams listed on the package are 100% true. This stuff is very moisturizing and feels great on. Nothing sticky or slimy or gross….just awesome lip balm.
Does it cost a million dollars? Nope. You can pick up a jumbo size lip conditioner for between 4 and 5 dollars. The jumbo size really is considerably larger than the standard lip balm tube, so the price isn’t bad at all.
Overall rating? This lip conditioner has 4 of the 5 bunnies hopping with joy. (I thought about giving the Plant a Kiss 4.5 bunnies, but that seems odd and wrong….perhaps I’ll move to a 10 bunny system???) The only thing holding the bunnies back from full-on enthusiasm is the recycling/waste issue. The product itself is fabulous!
